To get the masu stem, you just drop the ます (masu) from the end. It’s like peelin’ the tag off your new kicks. Once you got that clean stem, you just attach ましょうか (mashou ka) to it. Easy money. This is when you gotta get the word out. Maybe you’re a hustler, and you “nagasu” (leak) some “jouhou” (information) about a new deal to your people. Or maybe you’re a snitch, and you “nagasu” some “jouhou” to the cops. It’s about lettin’ that info flow, just like water.
はめる (Hameru)
English: To frame someone; to set someone up.
This is a dirty game. It’s when you set somebody up to take a fall for somethin’ they ain’t do. Like in them gangster movies, when the rival crew “hameru” the main guy by plantin’ evidence on him so the police come down on his head. It’s about makin’ someone look guilty when they ain’t, so you can get them out the way. It’s a real snake move.
にせ の (Nise no)
English: Fake; phony; counterfeit.
This one is simple. If it’s “nise no,” it ain’t real. It’s fake. Like, if some dude rolls up with a “nise no” Rolex, you know he’s a clown. Or if the cops got some “nise no” evidence, it ain’t gonna hold up in court. “Nise no” means it’s a fraud, a lie, a counterfeit. It’s not the real deal.
