Read the explanation below to understand the nuance of how this grammar structure is used.
This is a special one. This is the honorific version of suru (to do). When the boss does something… anything… he nasarus. You suru, he nasaru. Got it?
Common Situation: “What will the Boss do?” (ボスはどうなさいますか？) “The Boss did it.” (ボスがなさいました。)
Metaphor: This is the boss’s personal verb. It’s custom-made. Everyone else gets the off-the-rack suru. The boss gets the tailored nasaru.

It’s a regular う-verb (Godan) in its conjugation… just a very, very special one.

- ボス、この件は、どうなさいますか？ ボス、この けん は、どう なさいますか？ (bosu, kono ken wa, dou nasaimasu ka?) Boss, what will you do about this matter?
- ボスは、いつも通り、最善の判断をなさる。 ボス は、いつも どおり、さいぜん の はんだん を なさる。 (bosu wa, itsumo doori, saizen no handan o nasaru.) The Boss, as always, will make the best decision.
- カシラは今、部下と面談をなさっています。 カシラ は いま、ぶか と めんだん を なさっています。 (kashira wa ima, buka to mendan o nasatte imasu.) The lieutenant is conducting interviews with the underlings right now.
- ボス自ら、尋問をなさるとは… ボス みずから、じんもん を なさる とは… (bosu mizukara, jinmon o nasaru towa…) For the Boss to do the interrogation himself…
- ボスは、このシマの「掃除」をなさるおつもりだ。 ボス は、この シマ の 「そうじ」 を なさる おつもりだ。 (bosu wa, kono shima no “souji” o nasaru o-tsumori da.) The Boss intends to “clean up” this turf.
- ボスは、あんな裏切り者をファミリーに入れたことを後悔なさっている。 ボス は、あんな うらぎりもの を ファミリー に いれた こと を こうかい なさって いる。 (bosu wa, anna uragirimono o famirī ni ireta koto o koukai nasatte iru.) The Boss regrets letting a traitor like that into the family.
- ドンは、その「ビジネス」をなさらないでしょう。 ドン は、その 「ビジネス」 を なさらないでしょう。 (don wa, sono “bijinesu” o nasaranai deshou.) The Don probably won’t do that “business.”
- ボスは、あえて危険な賭けをなさった。 ボス は、あえて きけん な かけ を なさった。 (bosu wa, aete kiken na kake o nasatta.) The Boss dared to make a dangerous gamble.
- ボス、明日の襲撃は、いかがなさいますか？ ボス、あした の しゅうげき は、いかが なさいますか？ (bosu, ashita no shuugeki wa, ikaga nasaimasu ka?) Boss, what’s the plan for tomorrow’s raid?
- ドンは、人質を解放するよう命令をなさった。 ドン は、ひとじち を かいほう する よう めいれい を なさった。 (don wa, hitojichi o kaihou suru you meirei o nasatta.) The Don gave the order to release the hostage.
