The Nuance: This is a suggestion, but it ain’t always soft. It can be friendly, or it can be a sarcastic, “How ’bout you…?” It’s not as polite as ~tara ii desu ka. It’s direct.
Common Situation: When someone is complaining, you can hit ’em with, “If you don’t like it, why don’t you just leave? (嫌なら、帰ったらどうだ？)”
