Hood Japanese – Japanese grammar explained by 90's gangsters

In a nutshell, this content is designed to be kinda funny, weird, and shocking.

Because the more interesting something is, the easier it is to remember.

I found the following 5 things have really helped me to improve my Japanese, so I built a website around them.

Each page features:

  • Super casual versions of complex grammar explanations, think Thug Notes from YouTube, but for Japanese grammar.
  • Concepts explained with very visual metaphors
  • Content that is actually interesting (well to me anyway). I like Yakuza movies, especially 90s ones, so I’ve included that as the theme of every lesson.
  • Clean and easy-to-understand conjugation guide
  • Heaps of example sentences so I could see the pattern in action and figure it out myself.

Where to begin?
